About Architecture Art

To try to explain what sort of architectural art concepts I have running around loose in my head would be a little difficult

Around 1996 or so I started to manufacture hammocks from home.

The initial hanging chair evolved very quickly into a luxury padded hanging hammock chair.

Within a few years the range of hammock related products had developed to about 15 different styles of hammocks.

There was a natural progression towards all types of designed furniture. custom made pieces.

Wooden frames were added and it was not long before I was fiddling with different art forms.

My interest was more the application of the art than the art itself. It helped that the main thrust of the furniture inquiries were aimed at the Lodge industry, and therefore a lot of the ideas developed into that direction.

Large over-sized wooden frames soon went toward outdoor art, which slid into a variety of directions and lent strongly towards a boiler cement 3D type product.

The bulk of my commissions were for 3D animal pictures as that was the industry that I was supplying the most.

However the 3D cement concept could very easily be ramped up to cover huge building facades or 2 hundred meter wall logos.

Being slightly eccentric and not a little weird I am incapable of sticking to only one form of project at a time.

Finally having said that what I really wanted to tell you was that the ideas are out there and if you have the courage we could develop some great and very unique ideas that will be original and be well worth the effort.

In the meantime…..

All production of the hammock side will stop shortly and will only be sold as a how-to-make-your-own-hammock book from then on.

For now you are able to purchase a few of the original products.
